Un maître authentique est un maître qui ne s’est pas satisfait d’acquérir toutes les connaissances mais les a également intégrées par l’expérience, un être empli de sagesse et d’une immense compassion, dont l’attitude est simple et très humble.

Il est détenteur d’une lignée authentique qui descend du Bouddha.

L’ami spirituel nous protégera des expériences négatives et nous guidera sur la voie positive, pour notre bien et celui d’autrui. Une fois que nous l’avons trouvé et que nous avons vérifié très attentivement son authenticité, nous devons avoir une confiance inébranlable en lui.

La confiance envers le maître est très importante car elle rend la voie bien plus simple et directe.
